Almost Tuna Salad
1 red bell pepper, halved
1/2 cup celery, chopped
1/4 cup almond butter or sesame tahini
1 tsp. kelp powder
1/2 cup water
1 cup alfalfa or other leafy sprouts, chopped
1/4 cup sprouted mung beans
1/4 cup sprouted lentils
1/4 cup finely diced onion
1/4 cup chopped parsley
1/4 cup dulse flakes
In a blender, combing the celery, nut/seed butter, kelp powder and water. Season to taste. Pour this mixture into a mixing bowl with the remaining ingredients (except red peppers). Mix well. Serve in red bell pepper halves. Makes 2 servings.Alternatively, instead of pouring the mixture into the red bell pepper halves, serve it on Rye Crisps (recipe is found in Food Combining Chart).
